In a statement issued Sunday and signed by the ministry’s press secretary, Hashmin Mohammed, authorities said roughly 20,000 qualified students had yet to have their school selections entered into the CSSPS platform. The delay, the ministry said, responded to appeals from parents, guardians, pupils and school heads seeking more time to submit and upload necessary information.
“In response to these requests, the Ministry has decided to reschedule the release of the 2026/2027 Computerised School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results from Monday, 31st August 2026 to Friday, 4th September 2026.”
The ministry emphasised the extension is intended to ensure every eligible student can be included in the placement process. It urged stakeholders to use the window to finalise submissions so that pupils’ details are captured for assignment to SHS and TVET programmes.
