LG Electronics is opening a four-day home lifestyle fair for its community Lifezip at COEX in Seoul’s Samseong-dong district from Aug. 13 to 16, in a bid to translate an expansive online following into larger in-person customer experiences.
From online community to physical fair
The event — billed as "2026 House Archive: Home Digging Fair" — spans roughly 670 pyeong (about 2,215 square metres), more than double the footprint of the Lifezip pop-up in Seoul’s Seongsu-dong last year. LG has organised the venue around five themes: rest, creation, relationships, collecting and exploration, and is offering a slate of at-home lifestyle activities from do-it-yourself fragrance and tea workshops to sleep-focused programming, ceramics, vintage goods, home parties and gardening.
What visitors will find
LG said products will be placed throughout the fair for hands-on testing. Devices on display include the LG StanbyME2 Max portable lifestyle screen, the LG XBOOM 360 wireless speaker, the LG PuriCare AeroFurniture tabletop air purifier and the LG Tiiun Mini plant-growing appliance. About 70 brands in categories such as furniture, lighting, plants, stationery and crafts are participating, and a table market will feature roughly 30 Lifezip members selling items they have made or collected.
Lifezip itself is a community that shares home-themed activities including cooking, interior design, gardening, pets and home camping. It began with 450 members in 2022 and has grown to more than 1.1 million members in about three years, with approximately 300,000 monthly active users.

Why it matters for consumers
For home enthusiasts and shoppers, the fair is a chance to test appliances and lifestyle products in staged home-like settings rather than relying on online descriptions. The mix of workshops, maker markets and brand displays reflects a broader retail trend toward experiential events that build loyalty and encourage product trial.
- Hands-on access: Visitors can try LG lifestyle hardware in situ.
- Community commerce: About 30 members will sell their own creations at a table market.
- Curated programming: Five themed zones aim to reflect daily home life activities.
LG Electronics has been incrementally expanding Lifezip beyond digital channels. In 2024 the company opened its first Lifezip pop-up store in Seongsu-dong, and the community also participated in the Seoul Living Design Fair last year. The COEX event represents the largest standalone in-person Lifezip activation to date and signals continued investment in bridging online communities with offline retail and experiences.
For Canadian readers watching global home-lifestyle trends, the fair illustrates how major appliance and electronics companies are repositioning themselves as lifestyle brands — emphasising ambience, craft and community as much as technical specifications.
