Keanu Theo Maartens, a Grade 11 learner at Hoërskool Kempton Park, has completed his first solo flight while training at the Central Flying Academy (CFA) based at Rand Airport, his family reported. The milestone earned him his first pilot stripe, an initial marker for trainee pilots.
