Cyber security operation to move into new city-centre offices
CSA Cyber is transferring its Gloucester headquarters and around 100 employees to The Forum, marking the latest move by a technology-focused business into the city’s developing King’s Quarter. The cyber security specialist will take 3,442 square feet of space on the development’s fourth floor, with the new office expected to open in early 2027.
The company currently operates from Waterwells Business Park in Quedgeley. Its move will keep the business in Gloucester, where it was established in 2013, while placing its United Kingdom operation in a more central setting. CSA Cyber provides consultancy and managed cyber services designed to help organisations identify threats, strengthen their defences and improve their understanding of online risks.
Around 100 members of staff are expected to relocate as part of the change. The business also runs a 24-hour Security Operations Centre in Gloucester, underlining the continuing importance of the city to its work. No change to the company’s local base of operations beyond the office relocation was outlined in the announcement.
The Forum adds another technology tenant
The Forum is a £107 million mixed-use development in Gloucester city centre, brought forward by Gloucester City Council and developers Reef + Partners. CSA Cyber will become the third business tenant named at the scheme, joining international web hosting company Fasthosts and co-working operator Patch. The development also includes the 129-room, four-star Hotel Indigo.
The scheme forms part of the wider regeneration of the King’s Quarter. CSA Cyber’s arrival adds a business whose core work is closely linked to digital services and online security to an area already being associated with technology. For Gloucester, the announcement means a substantial group of employees will be based in the city centre rather than at the company’s existing business-park premises in Quedgeley.

- Staff affected: about 100 employees
- Opening: expected in early 2027

Company says move will support its next stage
CSA Cyber chairman and co-founder David Woodfine said the firm had been seeking a workplace that matched its ambitions as it grows within the FluidOne group. He said the move would allow the company to retain its Gloucester identity while giving teams a setting intended to encourage joint working and new ideas.
“The Forum gives us an environment that supports collaboration and innovation and has allowed us to maintain our roots here in Gloucester.”
Woodfine also said being based in a location becoming recognised as a cyber and technology hub would help CSA Cyber continue providing services to clients. The firm’s parent brand, FluidOne, acquired CSA Cyber in November 2020.
Further business presence in King’s Quarter
Jeremy Hilton, Liberal Democrat group leader at Gloucester City Council, welcomed the decision and congratulated council officers involved in securing the deal. He described CSA Cyber as another high-value business choosing Gloucester. The council is one of the parties behind The Forum, alongside Reef + Partners, and the company’s planned occupation gives the development another established local employer as it continues to fill its commercial space.
