Hilton signs DoubleTree hotel in Rajkot as demand from engineering and trade sectors rises
Hilton has signed to bring a DoubleTree by Hilton hotel to Rajkot, marking the international chain’s first property in the city and its fourth hotel in Gujarat. Announced on Tuesday, the project is a development partnership with Sanjayraj and Co. and is slated to open in early 2030, the company said.
Located on Second Ring Road in what Hilton describes as Rajkot’s emerging commercial district, the full-service hotel will offer access to the city’s key industrial and business hubs, Rajkot Junction railway station and Rajkot International Airport. The hotel is planned to include approximately 22,000 square feet of meeting and event space, positioning it to serve business travel as well as meetings, weddings and social events that are prominent in the city.
