Peel Regional Police investigators say a 32-year-old man from Brampton has been charged in connection with a violent assault that left a man with multiple stab wounds outside a Mississauga nightclub during the August long weekend.

Suspect identified and charged

Investigators with the 12 Division Criminal Investigations Bureau announced the arrest of Gregory Darling on Aug. 2. He has been charged with aggravated assault and was held for a bail hearing after attending the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton.

Where and when it happened

Police say officers were called to a commercial unit in the area of Dixie Road and Aimco Boulevard in Mississauga at approximately 1:40 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 1.
