Standerton boxing club TNT travelled to the Spring Fiesta tournament at Apex South in Alberton on 29 August, where its young fighters were tested against older and more experienced opponents. Challenging draws for younger fighters
The TNT squad included Kegan Pretorius, Ewald Engelbrecht, Juan Jacobs and Jayden Pretorius, accompanied by manager Sune Jonker and coach Thian van den Berg. Several fighters were matched against seniors or more experienced opponents when suitable junior opponents were not available.
Kegan Pretorius was moved up to face a senior opponent after a junior opponent could not be found.
