Detectives have opened a murder investigation after a man in his 30s was found with significant head injuries at a house on Poynders Road in Lambeth.
Emergency services called to property
London Fire Brigade crews attended the address shortly before 9pm on Friday after being asked to force entry. On entering the house firefighters discovered the man, who was later confirmed dead by emergency teams at the scene. The Metropolitan Police said the man's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specialist officers.
