Investigation focuses on social media contact and alleged pimping
The Service de police de l'agglomération de Longueuil (SPAL) says it arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with an investigation into sexual exploitation and is asking anyone who may have been victimized or who has information to come forward.
Authorities arrested the suspect, identified by police as Ricardo Rosemond, on Aug. 7. Rosemond faces a series of charges, including procuring (pimping), human trafficking, advertising sexual services, material benefit, aggravated assault and obtaining a material benefit from the provision of sexual services, according to the statement issued by SPAL.
