JAIPUR: Counting of votes for the Jaipur Municipal Corporation proceeded under tight security on Monday, with officials restricting access to designated centres as results from 120 of the 150 wards were declared. The civic poll — for the state's largest municipal body with more than 24 lakh electors — so far returned 63 wards to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), 44 to the Congress and 13 to other parties and independents, election officials reported.
