The Guelph Storm confirmed changes to the opening day of training camp and published its preseason schedule this week as the Ontario Hockey League club ramps up on-ice preparations for 2026-27. Organizers said the first scrimmage will now begin at 6:15 p.m., 15 minutes earlier than previously posted, and asked fans to use a single designated entrance at the Sleeman Centre.

Entry and construction notices for fans

Fans who plan to attend the Storm’s training-camp sessions and scrimmages are asked to enter the Sleeman Centre through Gate 6, which is located on the upper level of the Old Quebec Street Mall. The club also warned attendees to be mindful of ongoing construction in sections 104 to 109 of the arena.

"Please enter through Gate 6 (upper level of the Old Quebec Street Mall) ONLY. We kindly ask fans to be mindful of the construction in sections 104 to 109."

The club emphasised that ice times remain subject to change, advising followers to check for updates if planning to attend.
