Substitute detained after loaded handgun found at Westland Senior High
HIALEAH — A substitute teacher was arrested Tuesday after school staff found a loaded 9mm handgun inside her backpack at Westland Senior High School, Miami-Dade jail records and the arrest report show.
Authorities identified the suspect as Chenelle Antonette Doctor, 27. She was taken into custody and charged with possession of a firearm on school property, according to the arrest record made public by NBC6 and Miami-Dade detention records.
