Investigators pursuing suspect after multiple incidents

The most serious of the reported attacks occurred on Sept. 3, 2026, at about 5 p.m., when a victim was assaulted near their vehicle and sustained injuries that required hospital treatment. Two earlier robberies, between May 9 and June 27, involved similar thefts in which victims suffered minor injuries.

Police describe the person of interest as a Black male, approximately six feet tall, weighing about 215 pounds, with short black hair and dark brown eyes. He has been observed wearing medical masks and gloves during the incidents, according to the notification.
